Heart, Mind and Soul Therapy.
Counsellor - MBACP
We are all unique and although we experience things differently, you are not alone. I accept you as you are and offer a safe and open space in which you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement.
I am experienced at counselling clients who are feeling lost or “stuck”, struggling with unresolved past events, experiencing difficulties in their relationships and holding negative beliefs about themselves.
Counselling can help in ways you wouldn’t imagine and I have often found that as trust in the therapeutic relationship grows, you can find yourself releasing things you hadn’t even realised you were carrying with you.
As your counsellor, I will empower you to uncover your strength and resilience so that you can face your adversities, now and in the future. I will support you as you learn more about yourself and better understand how you relate to the world. I believe that this is the core of permanent change in your life, allowing you to find a sense of peace, balance and direction - enabling you to move forward to live a happier and more fulfilled life.
These are some of the other areas in which I can help:
Loss (Bereavement, Redundancy & Relationships)
Low self-esteem or self-worth
Relationship difficulties (Family, Friendships, Romantic, Sexual)
I appreciate that seeking Counselling can feel like a big step and finding a counsellor that you feel comfortable with is important. As such, I offer a free introductory phone call so that we can “meet” without obligation, which allows you to decide how you want to move forward.
While I keep to a Person Centred framework, I am an Integrative Counsellor, which means that I can draw on various theories (such as Humanistic, Cognitive-Behavioural and Psychodynamic), based on what feels right for you. I am genuine, empathic and responsive to you and your needs in each session.
I am a qualified Counsellor and member of the BACP.
I work with adults on a one to one basis and my fees are £50 per session.
