About me
Offering remote counselling or face- to-face session from Lincoln Counselling Centre.Â
Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and finding the right therapist is an important part of that journey. My aim is to offer a space where you feel genuinely accepted, listened to, and understood—a space where you don't have to hide parts of yourself or worry about being judged.
I believe that every person has their own unique story. Our experiences shape the way we think, feel, and relate to ourselves and others, which is why I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, I work collaboratively with you, adapting our sessions to your individual needs, strengths, and goals.
My practice is rooted in person-centred counselling, creating a warm and trusting therapeutic relationship while integrating approaches that best support you. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck, we can work together to better understand what's happening beneath the surface and help you move towards a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling.
As a neurodivergent therapist, I have a particular passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals. I understand the pressure many people feel to mask who they are in order to meet neurotypical expectations.
Therapy can be a place where you no longer have to do that. Together, we can explore your strengths, better understand how your mind works, and build a life that feels right for you—not one based on other people's expectations.
Above all, I believe that therapy isn't about fixing who you are—it's about understanding yourself more deeply, recognising your strengths, and finding a way forward that feels authentic and meaningful. My role is to walk alongside you, offering support, insight, and encouragement as you create the changes that matter most to you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Counselling and a Master's degree in Counselling, with experience working therapeutically with both children and adults across a broad range of presenting issues. In addition to my private practice, I work with survivors of domestic and sexual abuse, supporting clients who have experienced trauma, emotional distress, low self-esteem, and complex life challenges. I regularly undertake extra courses and lectures to stay up to date and expand on my knowledge.
