Graham Brown
Men Matter Counselling

Counsellor - MNCPS (Accred)

I am the founder of Lincoln Counselling Centre and have experience working with both adults and young people, I also run a special counselling service for men called Men Matter.

Men Matter provides a safe and confidential men's counselling service based at Lincoln Counselling Centre.

I provide a place that men feel able to to approach, somewhere that understands the specific issues that men face.

Men find it difficult to ask for help and I know that taking that first step to get counselling can be scary because I've been there.

Our society teaches men that they should always be strong and not to show our emotions, we have all heard the sayings, big boys don't cry or man up, things that are never useful.

I have experience in the following areas:

  • Gay men

  • Bereavement and Loss

  • Depression

  • Sexual abuse

  • Relationship struggles

  • Suicidal thoughts

  • Identity issues

  • Domestic Abuse

  • Men’s issues

  • Work problems.

  • Anxiety

  • Work issues.

Counselling is about listening and forming a relationship, it is about building trust so that you can speak freely without judgement, it is not about giving you answers, it’s about helping you find them.

Fees - £50 per session

I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society.
